{"id":3333,"date":"2026-08-14T18:28:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-14T16:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.smattraining.com\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=3333"},"modified":"2026-08-14T18:28:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-14T16:28:00","slug":"heat-training-brazil-rio","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.smattraining.com\/en\/event\/heat-training-brazil-rio\/","title":{"rendered":"HEAT Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 data-pm-slice=\"1 3 []\">HEAT \u2013 Hostile Environment Awareness Training<\/h1>\n<h3>HEAT Training Brazil \u2013 Rio<\/h3>\n<h3>October 2026 Session \u2013 Organised only after TECR for CBRN\u00ae<\/h3>\n<p>SMAT Training is organising a <strong>HEAT \u2013 Hostile Environment Awareness Training<\/strong> module in <strong>Rio, Brazil<\/strong>, as part of the Brazil pilot training programme.<\/p>\n<p>This HEAT module is designed to provide participants with essential awareness, preparation and personal safety skills for operating, travelling or working in potentially unstable, degraded or high-risk environments.<\/p>\n<p>\u26a0\ufe0f <strong>Important:<\/strong> this HEAT session is not organised as a standalone deployment.<br \/>\nIt will only take place in direct continuity with the <strong>TECR for CBRN\u00ae Brazil<\/strong> training scheduled during the previous three days.<\/p>\n<h2>Programme Overview<\/h2>\n<p>The HEAT module focuses on practical awareness and risk reduction for people who may be exposed to complex, unstable or unfamiliar environments.<\/p>\n<p>The programme may include:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>hostile environment awareness;<\/li>\n<li>personal safety principles;<\/li>\n<li>situational awareness;<\/li>\n<li>travel safety;<\/li>\n<li>risk identification and prevention;<\/li>\n<li>behaviour and communication in sensitive environments;<\/li>\n<li>basic crisis response principles;<\/li>\n<li>decision-making under stress;<\/li>\n<li>preparation before deployment or travel;<\/li>\n<li>practical exercises and scenario-based learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 24px; margin-bottom: 32px;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: bold;\">\u26a0\ufe0f Practical and Accessible Approach<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>HEAT is not designed only for military or tactical personnel.<\/p>\n<p>This training is also intended for civilians, professionals, organisations, NGOs, companies, medical teams, security staff and individuals who need to better understand potential dangers and adopt safer behaviours in complex environments.<\/p>\n<p>The objective is to help participants:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>recognise risks earlier;<\/li>\n<li>avoid unnecessary exposure;<\/li>\n<li>understand how situations can deteriorate;<\/li>\n<li>react more appropriately under pressure;<\/li>\n<li>improve personal and team safety;<\/li>\n<li>develop practical awareness before travelling or working in sensitive areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 24px; margin-bottom: 32px;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.7em; font-weight: bold;\">\ud83c\udf93 Certification<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Professional certification issued within the framework of the partnership with the <strong>Security Institute of Ireland (SII)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Important Organisation Conditions<\/h2>\n<p>The HEAT module can only be organised in direct continuity with the <strong>TECR for CBRN\u00ae Brazil<\/strong> training.<\/p>\n<p>SMAT will not travel to Brazil solely to deliver a standalone HEAT course.<\/p>\n<p>The HEAT module requires a minimum of <strong>10 confirmed, registered and paid participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If the TECR for CBRN\u00ae Brazil training does not take place, the HEAT module will not be organised as an independent session.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 24px;
