SMAT GLOBAL

International Expertise,
A Growing Global Network

SMAT is developing an international network that brings together training organisations, specialised partners and local collaborations around a shared approach: delivering high-standard training programmes tailored to operational realities and the professional environments of each region.

This international expansion brings SMAT programmes closer to professionals, draws on local expertise and supports the development of sustainable training capabilities, while maintaining a common framework of standards, educational quality and assessment.

ONE NETWORK, MULTIPLE COLLABORATION MODELS

A Structured International Presence

SMAT’s international presence is based on different forms of operations and collaboration. Their status varies depending on the country, the partners involved and the activities developed locally.

01
SMAT Operations
Activities directly coordinated by SMAT, including the development of training programmes, standards, certifications and international projects.

02
Authorized Training Partners
Partner organisations authorised to organise or deliver specific SMAT programmes within the framework established by their partnership agreements.

03
Training Centres
Facilities and infrastructure used to host training courses, practical exercises, assessments and simulation activities.

04
Strategic Collaborations
Scientific, technical, institutional or operational collaborations developed around shared projects and objectives.

A SHARED IDENTITY
Regardless of the collaboration model, the use of the SMAT name, its programmes, trademarks and certifications is governed by a defined framework. The international network does not therefore imply that every partner is legally constituted as a SMAT subsidiary or branch office.

GLOBAL STANDARDS · LOCAL EXPERTISE

A Common Framework, Adapted to Local Realities

SMAT’s international development is not about replicating an identical model in every country. Professional environments, regulations, operational requirements and local realities can vary considerably from one region to another.

The network is therefore built on a simple principle: maintaining a common framework for SMAT programmes, educational standards and quality requirements, while incorporating the local expertise needed for their effective implementation.

01
Common Standards
A shared framework for training programmes, learning objectives, expected competencies and quality requirements.

02
Local Expertise
Engaging professionals and partners with a thorough understanding of local operational, institutional and professional environments.

03
Quality Assurance
Maintaining established requirements for training organisation, instructional supervision, assessment and the use of SMAT programmes.

04
Knowledge Exchange
Sharing experiences, practices and expertise between SMAT and the various organisations within its international network.

GLOBAL NETWORK
Building Capabilities, Not Just Delivering Training
The SMAT network also aims to support the development of sustainable local competencies, facilitate the exchange of expertise and, where provided for within the partnership framework, progressively strengthen partners’ capabilities to organise and develop training activities within their own operational environments.
