Presentation
SMAT AETHER ...was born from the evolution of a simulation manikin already recognized in demanding tactical and medical environments. Initially based on the manikin concept... Combat Carl, developed in close cooperation with the German armed forces and the specialized units, AETHER has been redesigned to more precisely meet the educational needs of the training courses offered by SMAT.
Thanks to the collaboration between Erler-Zimmer and SMATAETHER is becoming a training tool dedicated to hostile environments, tactical emergency care and crisis situations.
Designed for TECC and TCCC training, it offers great robustness, advanced modularity and a level of realism suited to demanding civil, military, medical, and security environments.
The MARCH concept (or cABCDE/XABCDE)
Based on standards TCCC :
- M – Massive Bleeding : 7 bleeding points with manual or automatic bleeding modules controlled via app.
- A – Airway : Oropharyngeal, nasopharyngeal, and supraglottic airway management.
- R – Respiration : Monaldi and Bülau chest decompression.
- C – Circulation : IV access; IO access (tibia, humerus, sternum).
- H – Hypothermia / Head injuries : Interchangeable eyes: normal, dilated, or constricted pupils.
